About our sweet boy Mirto:
Mirto is a smaller male of excellent type with FANTASTIC movements. He has a lovely, sweet character and he gets along with all dogs - both male & female. He loves people, especially children and he will always try to kiss their faces. He is always first to greet our visitors, by putting his paws really softly on their lap and waiting for them to pat him.
He loves working, but he has his happiest moments, running free in the forest, chasing birds, digging the ground, and rolling around in muddy ditches, but he also loves taking a nice, cool swim in the lake or ocean...
We take really long nature walks every day, without having any leashes* on the dogs, which makes Mirto run many, many more kilometres than I walk, which has had the positive effect of making his body develop very nice muscles :-)
At home he loves looking after "his" girls, licking their ears and lying really close to at least one of them.
Mirto is a wonderful "dad" looking after our puppies, caring for & playing with them - as long as they don't bite! When they are old enough to bite hard, he happily leaves the "kindergarten" chores to Luna, who loves playing and teaching them not to bite.
* Lagotto usually have very little or no hunting instinct, which makes it very easy to take many Lagotti for long walks.
From time to time I easily walk up to 10 free running Lagotti and they always stay close to me. Well, "close-ish" I have to admit ;-)
